Mannington Mills of Salem, New Jersey has been in the floor covering business since 1915. Mannington is the only company that offers the contract market a range of both hard and soft surface flooring products from a single source. Mannington offers real wood floors, laminates, porcelain tile and carpet for both residential and commercial applications.

Mannington has translated its expertise in making hardwood floors into its line of laminate flooring. Their laminates are designed in the wood styles and tones that are most popular among their customers. Mannington uses its ThermoComposite technology to replace glue with thermal-set plastic resins which dig deep, through three surface layers and down into the fibers of their EcoCore. Mannington laminates will not peel. Other manufacturers of laminate flooring use glue to hold their laminate to the core that can sometimes come unstuck. EcoCore is made from recycled wood into a super-strong, high-density fiberboard that withstands denting.

The surface of a Mannington laminate is constructed with aluminum oxide for durability and resistance to wear and stains. This surface makes cleaning easy. Juice, wine, grease and chocolate spills can be wiped off easily. Even more difficult messes like cigarette burns, asphalt, shoe polish, paint, ink and crayon disappear with some alcohol or nail polish remover.

Mannington laminates are designed to work as a "floating floor" above an existing floor without the need for nails or glue. Mannington offers its own proprietary brands of underlayments to assure proper padding, heat insulation, noise dampening properties and moisture prevention. Mannington also offers a full line of moldings to complement its laminate flooring.

Mannington offers several different styles and lines of laminate flooring. Wood-style laminates are available in virtually every shade imaginable, from ashy maples to rich cherry woods. Mannington also features two complete lines of stone and tile laminate flooring.
